Karl Friedrich Dumoulin has extensive experience in business law, drawing on his international education in England and Canada, as well as on his longstanding engagement in Geneva Group International. He mainly advises medium-sized companies in their day-to-day business on national and international commercial law (supply and service agreements, cooperation and distribution agreements, issues of competition law and IP law, in particular trademark applications, license agreements). Karl Friedrich Dumoulin also represents his clients before courts and arbitration tribunals. Since 2007, he is a certified specialist in intellectual property law.

Karl Friedrich Dumoulin also specialises in financial services (factoring). He provides full service advice to financial services companies – including cross-border cases - and conducts complex litigation.

In addition, he advises clients on health care law involving both regulatory and civil law issues. In 2009 he became a certified specialist in health care law. His clients in this area include medical professionals, health care institutions and manufacturers of medical products.

He serves as the Vice Global Chairperson of the Practice Group Litigation and Dispute Resolution of Geneva Group International. He is also the publisher of "FYI - GGI Litigation and Dispute Resolution News" and has authored numerous other publications.
