

Collective bargaining raises many issues that we address for our clients. For example, we advise clients on the applicability of collective bargaining agreements that are incorporated by reference into employment agreements or that are universally binding. We also advise on options to terminate employment agreements, options to escape collective bargaining agreements, membership in employers’ associations without being subject to any collective bargaining agreements, as well as the post-contractual effect of collective bargaining agreements. We counsel and support our clients in collective bargaining negotiations, weigh the pros and cons of in-house collective bargaining agreements and regional collective bargaining agreements, and represent our clients in labor dispute actions, such as strikes or lockouts, filing motions for preliminary injunctions in court, if necessary.
