

The employment law practice group represents companies in proceedings against the Federal Pension Insurance Fund to determine the status of independent contractors, "permanent independent contractors," freelancers or artists before all administrative and social courts. We provide legal counsel on employment status proceedings that must be filed in advance in accordance with § 7a of German Social Security Code, Vol. IV, and assist our clients with tax audits examining whether independent contractors qualify as employees due the work performed by them and as such are subject to social security requirements. To minimize risks, we review and optimize existing agreements and develop customized solutions.
