Private Construction and Architectural Law

Whether office buildings, hotels, shopping malls, data processing centers, infrastructure projects, industrial real estate, residential real estate or soccer stadiums are involved – our services cover all phases of project development and execution. Our clients primarily are real estate funds, project developers and private investors. We represent clients in the negotiation of contracts with builders, architects, engineers and project managers, as well as of contracts with general contractors, we supervise the performance of construction work, and provide legal counsel on the termination of contracts and the marketing of properties. If disputes arise, for example, warranty claims, we also represent our clients in court.

FPS also offers expertise in the area of architectural law. We draft and negotiate contracts with architects for our clients, prepare and develop the legal design for architectural competitions, and represent architects to enforce copyrights as well as their claims for compensation under the German Fee Regulations for Architects and Engineers (HOAI).
