Dr Markus Clot was admitted to practise law in Germany in 2013. He primarily advises his clients on pecuniary loss liability, especially cases of professional liability. Dr Clot represents notaries, lawyers, auditors and tax advisors subject to liability claims, both in and out of court. In addition, he handles D&O liability, the representation of management boards and supervisory boards in the event of alleged liability claims. Furthermore, he also represents the interests of pecuniary loss liability insurers beyond direct representation of the individual professionals involved (monitoring counsel). He has extensive experience as a legal representative for professionals and in appearing before administrative and higher administrative courts. In 2016, Dr Clot took on a teaching position at Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences, where he educates trainee lawyers.
