FPS advises HOCHTIEF on the construction of new buildings at the Frankfurt Justice Centre
FPS has advised HOCHTIEF on the planning law matters of the new build of court buildings C and Z at the Frankfurt Justice Centre. HOCHTIEF is carrying out the project on behalf of the State of Hesse.
FPS's advisory work spanned a period of approximately two and a half years and focused on establishing the planning and public law framework for the development, as well as coordinating closely with the relevant permitting authorities. The topping-out ceremony held last week marked an important milestone in the progress of the project.
The development is subject to particularly demanding requirements in terms of planning, stakeholder coordination and confidentiality, and, given its significance for public infrastructure, ranks among the more complex projects of its kind. The new buildings will provide additional space for the Hessian judiciary in the heart of Frankfurt and are scheduled for completion in mid-2027.
With an investment volume in the mid-three-digit million euro range, the project is among the most significant public construction projects currently underway in Hesse.
"Buildings C and Z are central elements of one of the most important public infrastructure projects in the region. We are delighted to have supported HOCHTIEF in establishing the planning law foundations for this project," says Cedric Vornholt.
