FPS advises Winter Brothers Invest UG on the sale of a majority stake in True Sports Labs GmbH to Schwabe Group

True Sports Labs GmbH is a provider of innovative products for the sports and health sector, with a focus on recovery,  prevention, and performance optimisation. Its brand portfolio includes Hydraid®, a powder-based hydration and electrolyte solution designed to improve fluid intake for athletes and active individuals. 

The product is sold in convenient sachets and is available in twelve flavours. Since 2024, Hydraid® has been the official hydration partner of FC Bayern Basketball as well as of top athletes and Olympians.

The Schwabe Group is an internationally active pharmaceutical company that specialises in researching, developing and manufacturing herbal medicines (phytopharmaceuticals). Operating in numerous countries, the company ranks among the world's leading providers of evidence-based herbal medicines.

Following completion of the transaction, True Sports Labs GmbH will be well positioned to accelerate its growth and international expansion alongside a strong strategic partner. Through its investment, Schwabe combines the strengths of an established healthcare company with the innovative power of a start-up in the field of functional sports hydration and electrolytes.

The transaction was completed in July 2026.
