How I joined the company

After my parental leave, I was looking for a new role. The application process was swift, and I found the team very friendly right from the start. I was also able to start straight away. It just felt like the right fit.

In your view, what sets FPS apart?

I value the opportunity to work independently and to take on responsibility, and – when the situation allows – to make my own decisions and make the most of the freedom I’m given. I’m particularly proud that my line managers place their trust in me. That trust motivates me time and time again and helps me achieve the best results.

What else motivates you in your job?

I find it particularly motivating that the results of my work are often visible after just a short time. It’s also a great feeling to be an important part of a project and to contribute to the team’s shared success.

How do you find working with the lawyers?

We work together very harmoniously, and the atmosphere is characterised by mutual respect. I find the open communication and personal interaction – even on topics beyond purely professional matters – particularly valuable.

What is the atmosphere like within the team – what defines it?

The atmosphere within the team is warm and open. Everyone helps one another and steps in when support is needed. For me, that is exactly what makes for strong team spirit.

In your view, which skills are particularly important in this job?

We in the legal support team form the organisational backbone of every department. In our day-to-day work, flexibility and organisational skills are particularly important, as we often work with several lawyers and across different areas of responsibility. Resilience also plays an important role, as the job involves a varied and sometimes heavy workload. At the same time, reliability and discretion are essential, as we deal with sensitive client information on a daily basis. However, a service-oriented attitude is also particularly important to us: we want clients to feel that they are in good hands, understood and looked after professionally.

What aspects of your job do you particularly enjoy?

I find working with the various German procurement portals particularly exciting. I also enjoy taking on new tasks that I haven’t dealt with before. I really enjoy getting to grips with new topics and constantly developing my knowledge and skills in the process.

How do you unwind after a day’s work?

I find the perfect balance to my office life in nature, on long walks through the orchards and whilst fishing by the lake.
