Lawyer / Associate Partner
  • Specialist Lawyer for Tenancy and Residential Property Law
Eschersheimer Landstraße 25-27
60322 Frankfurt am Main

Dr Holger Scherer, born in Wiesbaden, studied law in Mainz before finally becoming a lawyer in 2002 after completing his legal clerkship and doctoral studies. After starting his career, Dr Scherer quickly specialised in civil law and, after an initially very broad area of focus, honed in on real estate law in the following years. In 2007, his increasing professional expertise was particularly brought to the fore when he was awarded the title of specialist lawyer for tenancy and residential property law by the Frankfurt am Main Bar Association. In 2009, he decided to take on the challenge of the more complex and demanding mandates of a large law firm and joined FPS in Frankfurt am Main. Since then, Dr Scherer has advised national and international clients in the real estate industry, including a wide range of companies in the field of real estate asset management, in particular on the optimisation of real estate portfolios through the drafting and negotiation of commercial lease agreements and addenda, as well as on the enforcement of contentious claims in court. In addition, Dr Scherer works in an advisory and forensic capacity in brokerage law.
