FPS advises on the acquisition of Wisefood, a start-up featured on the TV show ‘Höhle der Löwen’ (The Lion's Den), by LEEF

LEEF, a specialist in palm leaf-based, environmentally friendly packaging, is expanding its portfolio with the acquisition of Wisefood's innovative edible products. Wisefood, known from the TV show ‘Die Höhle der Löwen’ (The Lion's Den), has made a name for itself since 2017 with sustainable disposable packaging.

Claudio Vietta and Jens Christoph, managing directors of LEEF Holding, emphasise the strategic importance of the acquisition: ‘With the legal expertise of FPS, we were able to successfully complete this important transaction. The acquisition will significantly increase our overall sales and strengthen our market position.’

Both companies plan to expand their presence in Europe and broaden their product portfolio. FPS will also advise LEEF on future legal challenges in the context of integration and expansion.
