FPS advises Kreissparkasse Köln on syndicated financing for DEZ Group

The DEZ Group is an investment company of Vidia Climate Fund I and focuses on sustainable roofing solutions. Its focus is on industrial ecological building conversion through energy-efficient renovation and solar installations. 
With the funds provided, the investor Vidia Climate Fund I was able to drive forward its regional expansion and, together with its strategic partner, the long-established family business Wierig Group, complete the acquisition of the JNS Group from Feldkirchen-Westerham and the Schmidt Group from Hamburg. The strategic acquisitions not only enable geographical expansion, but also the expansion of the range of services.

Kreissparkasse Köln acted as mandated lead arranger in the deal and, together with a consortium consisting of Stadtsparkasse München, Haspa (Hamburger Sparkasse AG) and VR-Bank Bonn Rhein-Sieg eG, placed financing totalling €28 million.
