FPS focuses on growth: New partners at the Frankfurt location

The commercial law firm FPS is appointing five new partners at its Frankfurt headquarters on 1 January 2026, thereby strengthening the firm's core practice areas. Dr Thomas Schnülle-Weingart is being appointed as an equity partner. Daniel Hammes, Katharina Imfeld, Marcus Schmitz and Solène Winter are being appointed as associate partners

Dr Thomas Schnülle-Weingart advises on all areas of corporate law with a focus on private M&A and private equity transactions. He has extensive experience in national and cross-border transactions, restructuring measures and carve-outs and joined FPS in 2021 after previously working in the Global Transactions practice group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

Daniel Hammes is a specialist lawyer for employment law and advises national and international companies on all issues of individual and collective employment law. His particular areas of expertise are status determination, co-determination in the workplace and employment law support for transactions; he also regularly represents his clients in court, particularly in dismissal protection proceedings and works constitution resolution proceedings.

Katharina Imfeld is a specialist lawyer for construction and architectural law and advises national and international clients on private construction and real estate law, both in and out of court. She specialises in project-related advice and the drafting and negotiation of construction and architectural contracts and provides support during the construction phase, including warranty management and the enforcement and defence of claims. She also provides support in commercial leases and real estate transactions and combines legal expertise with economic understanding thanks to her Master of Arts in Business.

Marcus Schmitz advises clients from the healthcare sector – in particular operators of nursing homes, outpatient care concepts and hospitals – on health and real estate law issues. His focus is on asset management for commercial real estate, as well as enforcing claims and supporting transactions and project developments.

Solène Winter, LL.M., is a specialist lawyer for private construction and architectural law and works in construction and real estate law. She advises project developers, property developers and public clients on real estate developments and transactions and manages the legal project support from the early stages of initiation through contract drafting and negotiation to construction, including the enforcement and defence of claims in court.

‘With these appointments, we are bringing colleagues into the partnership who have shaped our firm professionally and personally for many years. Our new partners stand for excellence, reliability and entrepreneurial thinking – qualities that are particularly important to our clients in a demanding market environment. I am very much looking forward to continuing to work with them and shaping the future of FPS together,’ says Florian Wiesner, Managing Partner of FPS.
