Building the future
A new terminal for Frankfurt Airport

The south of Frankfurt Airport: since 2015, the new Terminal 3 has been under construction on the same spot that an airship port for zeppelins was located back in 1936. Soon, around 19 million passengers a year will arrive and depart there.

With three gates, a main terminal building and the associated transport links, Terminal 3 is currently one of the largest infrastructure projects in Europe. A project of this magnitude requires numerous partners. Dr Annette Rosenkötter heads the public procurement law department at FPS and has been involved in the project for many years. She discusses the cooperation and explains what makes the project at Germany’s largest commercial airport so special for her.
