FPS set to expand with new office in Munich

FPS is proud to announce the opening of a new office in Munich in January 2024. This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone in our growth strategy as we add a fifth location to our existing offices in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Berlin. The establishment of our Munich branch aims to further strengthen our full-service approach for clients in the small and mid-sized business sector as well as DAX-listed corporations.

The key objectives of our firm's strategic direction are underscored by the inauguration of this new office: enhancing our corporate structure, allocating more resources to legal advisory services, and tapping into additional opportunities for larger-scale projects. Additionally, we aim to enhance our attractiveness as an employer.

The areas of expertise we offer will enable us to better serve the southern part of Germany and the entire southern GSA region (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria). ‘We recognise that local presence remains relevant for our services, and we anticipate improved market access for clients in Munich and its surroundings,’ stated Managing Partners Stephan Jüngst and Florian Wiesner.

To kick off our Munich office, we are thrilled to welcome three experienced and well-known colleagues as partners: Jan Wunschel (Real Estate Transactions and Financing), Ralf Euling (Construction, Architectural, and Engineering Law), and Dr. Anton Ostler (IP, IT, Commercial). They will be joined initially by three associates at varying levels of seniority. Our team will be further complemented by the addition of Franziska Binding-Sibeth and Dr. Otmar Bernhard. We are currently in discussions with other professionals with the aim of expanding the team to 25 members within the next five years.

The areas of law covered by our new partners seamlessly align with FPS's service profile, and this also applies to the desired client profile. In selecting this team, in addition to the experience and strong reputation of our new partners, a shared vision and set of values played a pivotal role.

Despite the current challenging global economic situation, the firm feels well-prepared for the opening of this new office. ‘We boast a broad and stable client base and are organisationally and structurally ready for this step,’ highlighted Jüngst and Wiesner.

Jan Wunschel and Dr. Anton Ostler added, ‘FPS impresses with highly effective and unwavering commitment to leveraging experience, legal expertise, and resources for its clients, coupled with a high degree of social competence and an understanding of entrepreneurial concerns. We believe that this combination will also be pioneering for the Munich office.’
