Do I need an appointment or can I just pop in?

You need an appointment, which you can arrange with our secretary’s office by phone or email. In urgent cases, it is possible to arrange an appointment at short notice. You can find the contact details here.
What do I need to bring with me when I come?

Please bring your identity card or passport to the appointment as proof of identity. If you do not do so, we may not be able to provide notarial certification due to the legal requirements for this. If we need any other documentation, we will inform you in good time so you can bring this to the appointment.
Can I receive notarisation or certification from you online?

Notarisation or certification from us is possible online if you have a laptop or tablet with the free Notar app and a valid identification document as well as the PIN for it. More specific details of how to do this can be obtained from the secretary’s office of the notary in question.
Can you notarise the purchase or gifting of real estate that is not located in Berlin or Frankfurt?

You are free to choose a notary anywhere in Germany to draw up the contract for the purchase or gifting of real estate, regardless of its location. We have access to the land registers in all federal states and can also submit the respective applications nationwide.
Can I set up a limited-liability company with you that is not headquartered in Berlin or Frankfurt?

You can set up a limited-liability company with us even if the company is not based in Berlin or Frankfurt. We have access to the land registry courts in all federal states and can submit all applications for you nationwide. We have no restrictions with regard to the headquarters of the limited-liability company.
How are notary fees calculated?

The notary fees are set in law and are identical for every German notary. They are governed by the Court and Notary Fees Act. Example fees for typical constellations can be found here.
