FPS gains energy lawyer Dr Carmen Schneider

On 1 August 2025, Dr Carmen Schneider (44) will take over as head of FPS's energy practice from the Hamburg office. She joins from Oppenhoff.

Dr Carmen Schneider advises national and international clients comprehensively on energy law. With a focus on project developments in the field of renewable energies (in particular onshore and offshore wind, solar, storage facilities and electrolysers), she specialises in energy contract and energy regulatory law as well as energy trading. In addition, she advises on M&A transactions in the energy sector and represents her clients in (arbitration) court proceedings.
Dr Carmen Schneider is listed as a leading lawyer in energy law in the renowned JUVE Handbook for Commercial Law Firms, the US publisher Best Lawyers and the WirtschaftsWoche magazine.
